# Lumberjack
## Lumberjack Guide
Chop down trees in Prontera for wood, leaves, fruits, herbs and rare crystals. Many of these are needed for Mining and smithing.

**The short version:** Get a Lumberjack Axe -> equip it -> stand next to a tree in Prontera -> click the tree -> stand still until it falls.

### 1. Who Can Do It
To equip the **Lumberjack Axe** you need **Base Level 180** and one of these jobs (or their transcendent version): **Knight**, **Crusader**, **Blacksmith** or **Alchemist**.

### 3. Get Your Axe
Talk to the **Lumberjack** and choose **Trade For Lumberjack**. Equip the axe in your **weapon** slot.

### 4. How to Chop
1. Equip the **Lumberjack Axe** and stand right **next to** a tree.
2. Click the tree and **stand still**. Your character swings by itself.
3. A tree takes about **15 seconds** and gives rewards **3 times** while you chop.
4. The fallen tree **grows back in 5 minutes** at the same spot.
Every tree costs **50,000 zeny**, paid when you start.

**Don't move!** Walking away stops the chopping and the zeny is **not refunded**. Only one player per tree, and you must be under **90% weight**.

### 5. What You Can Get
Each reward round gives **1 to 5 different items** (usually 1 to 3 of each), and always at least 1.

| | **Honey Locust** | Locust pods that comes from Honey Locust Tree. The legume pulp inside the pods is sweet and is suitable to make tea. |
| | **Maple Flower** | A delicate flower of red Japanese Maple blossoms. It looks very soothing to the eyes. |
| | **Rainbow Bark** | A mysterious bark of a tree that is weirdly colourful yet beautiful. |
| | **Pink Liquid** | A mysterious pink liquid that comes from a cactus plant. It may have some strange use to it. |
| | **White Flower** | A white flower from a blooming tree. |

| | **Wooden Heart** | An artificial heart made out of wood which is used to give life to a Wooden Golem. |
| | **Barren Trunk** | A tree trunk of wood that is pretty low quality. |
| | **Fine-grained Trunk** | A tree trunk of wood with an excellent grain. |
| | **Solid Trunk** | A tree trunk of wood that is nice and solid. |
| | **Thin Trunk** | A thin trunk which is used by people to climb up to higher places. |
| | **Log** | A piece of wood that seems like it could be made into something. |
| | **Solid Peach** |
A peach that is so stout and solid, that it appears it can even withstand blows from a sword. Inedible, but might make a good weapon.

A red berry that is renown for its slightly sweet and sour taste, and is best eaten fresh. Heal: 16 - 28 SP

| | **Mastela Fruit** |
A shiny, purple fruit picked from the boughs of the Mastela tree. Heal: 400 - 600 HP

| | **Potato** |
A tuber that can be fried, baked, boiled mashed, even eaten. Heal: 15 - 23 HP

| | **Yam** |
A kind of plant root used as food. It's advised to eat this slowly with water, or to bake it beforehand. Heal: 50 - 100 HP

| | **Pumpkin** |
A large orange fruit grown from a vine that's used in baking pies and a few other dishes. Heal: 19 HP

| | **Carrot** |
An orange root that is supposedly good for your vision. Despite the Beta Carotene, kids don't care much for it. Heal: 18 - 20 HP

A precious medicinal herb that counteracts all poison. Cure: Poison

Each tree gives 3 drop rolls. You have about a **40% chance** to get at least one rare item per tree.

### 6. Axe Durability
The Lumberjack Axe has **120 durability**. Each reward round uses **3**, so a full tree uses **9**. That is about **13 trees** per axe. At **0** the axe **breaks and is gone** and can't be repaired.

### 7. Quick FAQ
**I can't equip the axe.** You need Base Level 180 and must be a Knight, Crusader, Blacksmith or Alchemist (or their transcendent jobs).
**"You are too far away!"** Stand right next to the tree, then click it again.
**"Someone is already felling this tree."** Another player is on it. Pick a different tree.
**The tree disappeared.** It was fully chopped. It grows back in 5 minutes.
