# Mithril Mining

**Mining Guide**<br>

Dig ore nodes in the mine for **Draco Ore**, gems, Oridecon, Elunium and more. Draco Ore is smelted into Draco Bars and Stardust for refining your mining gear and making Costume Enchant Stones.

### 1. Where to Go

All mining NPCs are in **Prontera**, next to each other.

### 2. Getting Started

1. Talk to the **Master of Mining** and learn the Mining skill for **1,000,000 zeny**.
2. Talk to the **Master of Forge**, choose **Use the Forge** and trade for your gear:

3. Equip the **Mining Pickaxe** (weapon) and the **Mine Helmet** (costume upper headgear).

### 3. Enter the Mine

Talk to the **Mining Warper**. Entry costs **1,000,000 zeny** each time and takes you to **Rudus Dungeon 4F**.

* Only **one character per IP** can be inside the mine.
* Teleport, warp skills and memo don't work inside. Use a **Butterfly Wing** to leave.

### 4. How to Mine

1. Stand right **next to** an ore and click it.
2. **Stand still.** Your character keeps digging by itself, one round at a time.
3. Each round gives you rewards. The number on the ore (like **100/100**) shows how many rounds are left.
4. When the ore is empty it disappears and **respawns 10 minutes later** somewhere in the mine.

* Only **one player per ore**.
* You must be **under 90% weight**.
* Walking away stops the digging. Click the ore again to continue.

#### Ore rarities

The mine has **50 ores**. The rarity is shown above each ore.

### 5. What You Can Get

Every round gives **1 to 3 items** from the lists below: the "any ore" list plus the list for that ore's rarity.

#### Any ore

### 6. Pickaxe Durability and Repair

Your Pickaxe has **200 durability**. Each round uses 1 to 5 depending on the ore rarity (see the table above). At **1** you can't dig any more until you repair it.

At **Pickaxe Repairs**, each repair gives **+50 durability** (up to 200) and costs:

**100,000 zeny** + 5 Steel + 15 Wooden Flute + 2 Wood + 4 Rome Apple + 2 Honey Locust + 3 Sticky Herb

### 7. Smelting at the Master of Forge

Choose **Use the Forge** to turn your ore into Draco Bars and Draco Stardust. The fish come from **Fishing**.

### 8. Refine Your Pickaxe and Mine Helmet

At the **Master of Forge**, choose **Refine Pickaxe** or **Refine Mine Hat** (for the Mine Helmet). Equip the item first. Each try uses **Draco Bars** (any one type) **plus the same number of Draco's Anvils**. Better bars give a better chance.

**"Only Blacksmiths and Whitesmiths are allowed to enter the Mining Area."** Mining is for Blacksmith and Whitesmith only.

**"Dual Login detected."** Another character from your IP is already in the mine.

**"You don't have the skill to mine!"** Learn it first from the Master of Mining.

**"You must equip the Mining Pickaxe / Mine Helmet to mine!"** Pickaxe in your weapon slot, Mine Helmet in the costume upper headgear slot.

**"Your pickaxe is too blunt."** Repair it at Pickaxe Repairs, Prontera (122, 244).

**"X is mining. It is not possible to mine here!"** Someone is on that ore. Find another one.

**"You are too far away!"** Stand right next to the ore and click again.
